COMMODITIES

Sri Lanka — Est. 1982

The group's trading arm was built on a single principle that the commodity trade too often forgets: a shipment is only as good as the relationship behind it. Every line in the portfolio rests on verified supply and direct access to origin — not brokered chains, but relationships the group can stand behind, in sectors where reliability and technical compliance are not optional.

Agricultural commodities. The agro portfolio runs deep across origin India. Cereals span non-basmati rice, basmati rice, maize, and wheat, sourced through an established network of mills and growers. On sugar, the group exports ICUMSA 100 white sugar, working directly with mills across the country. Alongside these sit pulses, a full range of Indian spices, and cashew nuts — the staples of the global pantry, moved by a partner who knows their provenance. Rounding out the agricultural side are interests in coffee, grown on a small plantation in the south of India, and tea from Sri Lanka, an origin that needs no introduction — Ceylon teas being widely regarded among the finest in the world.

Minerals. The mineral portfolio is genuinely broad and technically credible: baryte, bentonite, iron ore, bauxite, mica, limestone, kaolin, quartz, and gypsum. This is industrial supply for buyers who specify by grade, not by hope.

Chemicals, metals, and petroleum. The group extends into chemicals, metals, and petroleum commodities, where technical compliance is the entire game. Its credentials here are earned: it holds pre-qualified supplier status for bromine-based mud chemicals supplied to a principal contractor of ADNOC, and it supplies barite to oil producers operating in Chad — the kind of qualification that only exists where reliability has already been proven under pressure.

Across every category, the model is the same. Direct sourcing, verified relationships, and a refusal to trade on anything the group cannot deliver consistently. In a business built on trust and tested by every shipment, that discipline is the differentiator.

For buyers who need origin access without the risk that usually comes with it, the door is open.
