The practice
Hotels, offices, shops, houses, and the restoration of old buildings.
Philip Weeraratne founded PWA in Colombo. He trained under Geoffrey Bawa, Anura Ratnavibhushana and C. Anjalendran, and began practising at nineteen, while still a student.
The studio has since worked alongside Tadao Ando, Shigeru Ban and MVRDV, and builds across Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives and Oman. Naroth Inc. represents the practice in South India.
